Genow records an audit trail of every administrative action taken on the platform. This gives your compliance and security teams confidence that all changes are traceable and that the platform meets your organisation’s governance requirements.

What Is Logged

Every action that requires admin-level permissions (create, read, update, delete) is captured in the audit log. This includes changes to:
  • Agent configuration and settings
  • Knowledge Assets and Knowledge Sources
  • User and permission management
  • Platform settings
Each log entry contains at minimum: a timestamp, the user who performed the action, the type of action, and the affected resource.

Retention Period

Audit log entries are retained for one year.
The retention period is fixed at the platform level and cannot be customised per Agent or user.

Genow’s audit logging is part of a broader GCP audit logging strategy that covers all critical platform services and AI datastores. This means your team can rely on a consistent, verifiable record of platform activity when responding to compliance audits or internal security reviews.
Audit logging is active by default and requires no configuration to start collecting data.
